A plague has killed off most of the EarthÂ’s population. Those who remain are vampire-like creatures who avoid the sun. Robert Morgan (Vincent Price) is immune to the plague and fights off the zombies to survive. In the end he succeeds in transferring his immunity with a blood infusion.
Trivia: This movie, based on the book I am Legend, was remade as Omega Man, starring Charlton Heston, and I Am Legend, starring Will Smith.
