The Most Dangerous Game (1932)

Director: Ernest B. Schoedsack
Actors: Joel McCrea, Fay Wray, Leslie Banks, Robert Armstrong
Runtime: 63 min.

Russian Count Zaroff (Leslie Banks) is a psychotic big game hunter who lures victims to his remote island, invites them to dine in his mansion, releases them into the jungle, and then proceeds to hunt them.

Trivia: Director Ernest B. Schoedsack also worked with actors Robert Armstrong, Steve Clemente and Fay Wray in the classic movie King Kong, which was filmed on the same set. Fay Wray is often called Hollywood's first Scream Queen primarily due to her role in King Kong. But here in The Most Dangerous Game she screams a fair bit and already shows that her pipes are lubed and ready to go!
